New iPad owner and very happy, Now I always do banking and other such things on my laptop with all the usual security bits and pieces in place.
Now I have the option to use my iPad or my laptop.
Has anyone got issues or advice what is safer to use on a secure network or are they the same?
Any security issues I should be aware of shopping online with iPad or advice?

I can't think of any specific to the iPad, and I use it routinely for those purposes when I have it out on the road. I tend to avoid doing online banking or shopping when sitting, for example, in some bohunk free wifi hotspot filled to the brim with others hunched over their laptops, but I would feel the same with with any system in that environment.
Thanks..... I agree it's taking a chance using a public hotspot, I only ever use my secure network and hope it is secure (home and my mobile secure broadband)
