    You should start by restarting you router and Apple TV(Hold down the menu and play button until the LED flashes rapidly).The TV will display the white Apple logo and return to the main screen. A lot times problem like your can be due to network interference, so I would check what channels your neighbors are using. You can use a program like iStumbler(Netstumbler for Windows) to find out which channels they're using.  I hope this helps.

    More verbose explanations of the problem would help such as your how your network is set up.Withou that info I  would try rebooting your modem. leave it and the router unplugged for 15-20sec. If that doesn't work reset the ATV. You can find the reset option under the Gerneral settings menu.
