My daughter used my charger, as hers quit working. Mine charged her laptop but now won't work on mine...and her charger is again working for her. please help! I need my laptop!!
Are you using the standard plug or the extension cord? If not I would try the other option.

I have found that often jiggling the connector or snapping it gets it to work.

Often, simply unplugging the adapter from its wall socket for a minute is enough to get it working again. The reason is explained in the article Ogelthorpe has linked.
