I have a question about the mac desktop mail app. I cannot seem to get it to work with my Yahoo mail account. Whenever I try to enter my information, a notification always opens up saying that I need a password for the POP server. Does anyone know how I can find that password? Here is a picture to illustrate what I mean. I would be really happy if someone could figure this out.

Its the password needed by yahoo to acces your mail
the same password that you enter for the incoming mail server you set up in Mail preferences accounts, account information

So where do I find the password then? I seem to have all of the information lined up with the info on the articles that you attached. Are you saying that the password is my actual mail password? I have tried that before.

In Mail/Preferences/accounts/ yahoo and on the advanced tab make sure authenticiation is shown as password not token

Okay, that's what I though, but it still says that the password is invalid. I might have a problem somewhere else that I haven't been able to find yet. Thank you.
