frozen ipad2 sleep/wake button unresponisve also

ipad 2 frozen. Holding sleep/wake button also not responding. Can not even turn off. Completely frozen.

Always try a reset in this case: Hold down the Sleep/Wake + Home buttons at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Are you sure that you performed the reset correctly?

Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
