I have an HPdv2000 with Windows 7. Cannot use iTunes because as soon as I open it the CPU usage goes to 100% slowing down the whole computer. I have tried the troubleshooting indicated in the Apple web without success and now I cannot sync my iPad.

Hi, I followed the troublshooting using Sysinternals Autorun (Winsock providers) and found a possible conflict with a file named usage.lsp.dll. I changed the name of the file to make it unable to work and iTunes runs fast but it does not recognize the iPad.

I believe that one is associated with iQonn software.
By way of experiment, try uninstalling your iQonn product. Are you able to sync the iPad now?
