Can I upgrade to 802.11n?
I have an older MacBook with the following specs:
Model Family: | iBook G4 | ||||||||
Processor: | 1.42GHz G4 (PowerPC 7457B)
| |||||||||
Display: | |||||||||
| |||||||||
Base Memory: | 512MB PC2700 SODIMM
Brand: | Apple | ||||||||
Wireless: | 802.11b/g | ||||||||
Color(s): | White | ||||||||
Original OS: | Mac OS X 10.4.2
Battery: | 61-watt-hour removable
Graphics: | ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 (32MB)
Base Storage: | 60GB EIDE 2.5"
Optical Drive: | 4x Superdrive |
The section I've highlighted shows that the Macbook supports 802.11b/g. My question is, can I upgrade it to support 802.11n? Is it (hopefully) just a matter of updating the OS, which is currently on 10.4.2?
Thanks!
