Does anyone know how to reset it? I have turned it off. I have rebooted. I have tried to push every button on the phone but all require double tapping and Siri won't shut up. Help!
Go to Settings>General>Accessibility and turn VoiceOver to Off. You will have to scroll the screen using three fingers while VoiceOver is on.
It's not Siri.
You turned on voice over, an accessibility features for the visually impaired.
Thank you so much! Who knew about three fingers?!?!?!?
You're welcome. (Three finger scroll is listed in the fine print under VoiceOver in Settings.)
This solved my problem. And this stumped me for hours. Thanks everyone. I really thought my phone was possessed and nearly threw it out the window. What a great feature for the visually impaired.
Thank you, it WORKED for me. Last month it happened the same thing and the Verizon people didn't know how to fix it and Verizon sent me a new phone. I knew there was a way to fix it without exchanging phones again.
Here is an easy link for you to know how to fix it through itunes when you can't do the tapping or scrolling
