Mar 27, 2012 8:46 PM in response to lotanvanby James5wins,Which location did you make your iPod backup to?
iTunes or iCloud?
IF
-----iTunes----
>plug iPod to pc and have iTunes up
>Devices
>right click your device
>Restore from backup
IF
-----iCloud----
-go throu the setup of IOS 5 till you get to sign into your Apple Account
-you should have obtions either from iTunes or iCloud
>Choose iCloud to restore your backup (you might have a few of your latest backups you have recently)

Mar 27, 2012 9:46 PM in response to lotanvanby James5wins,Your iCloud also backups your pictures for 30days when the picture was actually been taken, so half the rest of your pictures could be in your iCloud which you can view it on any device sociated with your account.
>Picture App
>Albums
should show you 2 rows
>Camera Roll
>Photo Stream
plus any other albums you can manually create in this area.
Hopefully whatever you took and was connected to wifi before your daughter was using it.
You can also have these pictures autodownload to your computer if you had setup Photo Stream on your pc.
and this would mostly defently help you to setup your restritions on not touching area's you dont want her to go like erasing your iPod not without a passcode can she really erase it. i set that on my iPod if that had ever happen to me.
I'll help you here to set that up to if ya like

Mar 27, 2012 10:10 PM in response to James5winsby lotanvan, please do ...think what she did was 'restored to factory setting' because everthing was gone. What she wanted to do is to reconfigure or calibrate because when she plays games the finger placing is off.
thx

Mar 27, 2012 10:27 PM in response to lotanvanby James5wins,>Settings
>General
>Restrictions
-Make a passcode that you can remember and dont tell anyone other than your husband if ya want just incase you forget.
From here, everything should be fine after that.
if ya wanna test it (this will not erase your ipod, just follow what i do)
after putting a Restriction passcode, change the obtions as you plz which is right for her and yourself,
>General
-Scroll Down
>Reset
-and tab on
>Reset All Settings
-a pascode will come up to access this feature
>Cancel
-and tab on
>Erase All Content and settings
-a passcode will come up to access this feature
>Cancel
now you have successfully tested out the feature out. your daughter had press on "Erased All Content and Settings" which it dumped evrything and ordered to go to defaults the way it came up.
And no problem Glad this helps you.

Mar 27, 2012 11:18 PM in response to James5winsby lotanvan,Sorry I don't know ,as she is always complaining about the ipod is somewhat off, she cannot shoot right or even with solitaire when u touch the screen it does not move the card. So she thought it's something about calibration and resetting would get it right. Anyways...I am glad I am able to get some of my stuff back. Thank you very much.
