Whenever I watch a podcast on my new third generation Apple TV, after the podcast episode is over it does not set it as marked as watched. Is there a setting to make this work? It worked fine on my previous Apple TV.

I have this question as well. I had a Apple TV 2nd Gen and this problem started immediately after applying the software update to the current version. I have since switched to a 3rd Gen Apple TV and the problem remains.
Glad I'm not alone. Anyone have a solution. I sure wish Apple people would chime in on questions here. Would be nice to at least know they acknowledge the problem and will work on it.
New update 5.0.2 still no fix. AppleTv 3rd gen not mark podcast as watched automaticaly
Same issue here. It has been months of manually marking things "watched." Would love to see an official response at least acknowledging an awareness of the issue.
This is a user forum so you won't see a response from Apple.
