Pairing Jambox with MacBook

I've been trying to pair my MacBook (OS X 10.5.8) to Jambox. Mac discovers but won't pair, anyone managed to solve this?

Macbook can't find Jambox / Macbook won't pair with Jambox?

1. Turn Jambox and Mac off. Also, be sure your iPhone is not connected to Jambox and turn it off while connecting your Macbook and Jambox.

2. Turn Mac on, turn on bluetooth (found in the drop down menu of the bluetooth logo at the top of your screen - near the battery gauge)

3. Turn Jambox on and hold the on/off slider switch in the upmost position for three seconds or until you hear it say that it is ready to pair with device.

4. Click "Setup Bluetooth Device..." (found in the drop down menu of the bluetooth logo at the top of your screen - near the battery gauge)

Good Luck!

If you're tired of your jambox shutting down when it's no longer connected to a bluetooth device because the device is turned off or you took your iPhone with you when you left the room, here's a solution for that:

1. Connect your jambox to your airport device with a double sided auxiliary cable (came with the device.)

2. Connect your iPhone or Macbook to the airport.

3. in iTunes, select for your device to play music through your airport (it will be listed with your network name.)

This will inhibit you from moving your jambox around but it's a good trade for not having to turn it off and on everytime you enter the room.
