Setting up a second iTunes account and Home Sharing

We currently 4 computers that share 1 iTunes account. Two questions:

1. If I create a second iTunes account, tied to the same credit card, and then sign-in on 2 of the 4 computers with that ID will we lose the ability to home share across all computers?

2. Logging into iTunes with the new ID will not impact the iTunes library or apps on that computer correct?
