before this, the ipod has been a little wet, then it stoped working for the first few weeks. then it has been working for a year and it starts acting up again. i am guessing it is the battery or even boot commands are messed up. is there a way to fix this?

- Try reset.

Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Then connect to your computer and try to restore via iTunes

- See if placing the iPod in recovery mode will allow a restore. For recovery mode:

iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

- Next try DFU mode.

- If the iPod is still cyckig, let the battry fully drain. After charging for an hour try again.

- If it does not work, then you can make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. You likely have a hardware problem. Maybe caused by the water.
