I just received after 8 days an email from apple saying

Note that if you recently registered for a U.S. Tax ID, it can take time for it to become part of the IRS database records even though it has been issued to you for use. We cannot validate your U.S. Tax ID information until it is in the IRS database records.

When reentering your information, take care to avoid these common mistakes:

Select the correct Tax ID type (SSN/ITIN or EIN).

Enter your Legal Entity Name exactly as it is registered with the IRS.

Use your Legal Entity Name and not a doing business as (DBA) name.

"OpenText Web Experience Management". But, they took it off 3 weeks ago cause I used the word "iBook" in the text so am waiting again for review. So, I think I'll be waiting another 2 months!

The big problem is that I've got students who are waiting to take the courses but no book. What Apple should do is improve the turn-around for books that have already been published but were removed due to a small problem.

Yes, that's an error of truly momentous proportion and it serves you right having to wait for four weeks to find out. Especially seeing that the documentation doesn't mention any such restriction…

What Apple should do is improve the turn-around for books that have already been published but were removed due to a small problem.

Maybe that's what they are doing already. Seeing that the process is completely opaque, there is no way to know. But just imagine what might have happened if you had used the word "Kindle"… :-(
