Automator not working too well with a Selphy printer w/ Folder Actions :(

Hello,

Well, basically, I've got a MacBook Pro 13", and a Selphy CP800. I opened up Automator, selected Folder Action, pointed it to my Desktop. I then dragged in Print Images, and pointed that to my Selphy. I saved the workflow, and quit Automator. I tried putting new images onto my Desktop, but it failed. Anyone has any idea how I can enable automatated printing the moment an image is copied to a specific folder? I'm using an Eye-Fi too...

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Well, I should be more specific. I have also tried Print Folder Items, and when I said "it failed", nothing really happened at all, well, except on two occasions, which was weird that this workflow wasn't triggered all the time. I'm sure I did more than 50 times, but only twice something happened...

Else, anyone knows any 3rd party software that can do this?

Hmm, I think I might know what the issue is. Selphy CP800 can't seem to default print to postcard size. I've checked under System Preferences > Print & Fax > CP800 > Default paper size, but there's no option for 4R (4x6) or postcard size. Any idea how I can include that?

did you find any work around to this? I'm having trouble along the same lines. Everytime I try to print from a shared device, the printer defauslts to "letter" size and prints only a portion of the picture. Need a place to put in a custom size.

Once you are done, you will then have a new default paper size to select. hope this helps you!
