How do i add contacts on address book from my Verizon Wireless .cpv extension file?

Hi so i recently just got a new ipod touch 4th gen and i was trying to export my contacts from Verizon Wireless' website because i have a lot of contacts and don't have time to add them one by one. I wanted to add contacts on my ipod because of the face time feature. I am using address book too add contacts and the problem is that it only gives me .csv extension files and address book can't open them. How can i do this?
