Logic Express v. 9.1.3 - how to update?

I'm running v. 9.1.3 at present and have tried to update through all newer versions; keep getting error message that states "cannot update", the updates require v. 9 and higher to update. What the ... ?

Logic Express-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

Usually this is an indication that you either re-named the app or moved it from where it was originally installed. If you did either of these things, the installer will not be able to find LE.


Make sure that Logic Express is in the Applications folder and not in a subfolder or somewhere else, and also make sure that the application is named simply "Logic Express" as opposed to "Logic Express 9.1.3."
