Go to www.magicjack.com to find out what you can use with their devices. However, if you have an iPhone and cell service then you have no need of MagicJack.
ah ok, i guess i need to be at least 3GS, do u know if i am able to upgrade to 3GS and how?

3gs is a model of iphone. There is the original, the iphone 3g, the iphone 3gs, the iphone 4 and the iphone 4s.

Software has NOTHING to do with it.
Iphone 3GS is hardware. it is the phone itself.
You would have to own an iphone 3gs. You cannot turn any other iphone model into a 3gs.
