my iPhone4 screen has a crack in it....obtained with an otterbox case.....
someone told me today that if you bring the iphone (with case obviously) into the Apple Store, they'll replace the phone, due to the crack obtained while in otter.... true or false?

I think that is false. First off apple doesn't sell the otter box and second they wouldn't know if you took the phone out of the case, cracked the screen then put it back
False, because Otterbox nor Apple are liable for what happens to your phone while in the case. If your case malfunctions, it's Otterbox's fault, not Apple's. And vice versa.
