Do iPads have cooling fans?
Whenever I Skype somebody from my IPad 2, it starts to make a cooling fan sound. Any suggestions as to why?

iPad do not have cooling fan. Not sure what the sound is.

So should I take it to the apple store and have it looked at? There is a small minor dent on its side, would that cause anything?

There is not fan in the pad. This might be system static in the audio channel. There is no mechanical movement in the pad that would or could creat the sound.
I think the problem is with the App and not the iPad.
