Every time I go to my iMessage and try and send a picture from camera roll it goes back to my home screen. My photo stream works but not camera roll. I have restarted it, reboot and shut it off and nothing. Any help? Oh and it use to work when I first bought it ans just started happening. Thanks!
Try rebooting your iPad. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for about 10 seconds (ignore the red slider to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You will not lose any data or settings.

I had the same issue after the latest update, but the update probably didn't cause the problem. Rebooting worked for me. Like rbrylawski says, do not slide the red slider to shut down. Hope its working for you.
I just purchased the iPad 3 and have the same problem. Rebooting has done nothing.
