Is It Bad For The Battery To Always Leave My MacBook Pro Plugged In?

I have a brand new MacBook Pro 15.4 🙂 and 99.9% of the time I use it at home next to my desktop computer. I was wondering, is it okay to leave the laptop plugged in even if the battery is fully charged? Or would it be better to unplug it, wait for the battery life to go down, then charge it?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
