Q: Can I change AppleWorks to US flavor rather than British?

I goofed and installed AppleWorks with the British preferences (rules, dictionary, etc.) Is here a way I can globally change this to US mode without individually changing each document?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Unlike modern applications, AppleWorks is language-specific. You will have to delete AppleWorks & reinstall the North American English version. Assuming you have the original CD to install from it probably has both installers on it. However, the installer must be from late 2001 or newer. Earlier versions required OS 8 or 9 to install.
