I have the logitech speaker stand for iPad 2. My iPad charges but I can't get any audio. Logitech replaced my first speaker stand, but with the replacement unit, I have the same problem. Anyone have any ideas?

My daughter had the same problem with the Logitech iPad stand we bought her this Christmas. We knew the problem was with her iPad rather than the stand because it worked perfecrly with my iPad, her husband's and her mother's. We solved the problem with the Ultimateaddons dock extension kit, which I'd bought from Amazon earlier in the year. No logical explanation, but it did the trick.
My daughter has the same problem. She has iOS 6.1.3 software whereas my Son has iOS 6.1.2 and his IPad works fine with the speakers. Would this affect it and if so is there any way I could downgrade my daughters software to solve the problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
