Dock & Taskbar Disappearing
My dock and taskbar disappear whenever I'm working in an application other than Finder. Why is this and how can I make them permanently present?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)

Are you running those applications in full-screen mode?
If you are running in full screen mode, then, place cursor on the top of screen and click the Blue box top right of screen and resize
display with mouse.
clicking on the greyed out two arrows (Top right of Screen ) will make screen go to full screen mode and make task bar disappear
The menu Bar
No, I'm just running applications as normal. My 'minimize' feature has also mysteriously gone missing.
I've tried these and they unfortunately don't seem to work. When I click back on the desktop the dock and menu bar reappear, it's only when I'm on another application that they disappear.
all I can suggest is read and copy

and delete
