Ipad has no sound on games
but has sound for iTunes, YOu Tube, and streaming movies.
daugther is trying to play Oregon Trail, no sound, wife said same for some of her games.
sound option for daugthers game is on, no joy.
any ideas ?

You have mute turned on. This mute certain system sounds that some games use, but has no effect on regular music or videos. Depending on how you have the side switch configured,
Fist flip the side switch. Problem solved?
If not! double tap the home button to see the task bar, then swipe to see the far left. If the sound icon is there with a line through it, tap it to turn the sounds back on.
