I have made several videos on my iphone 4S using imovie. When I go to transfer it using Itunes, I can't open and view it on my pc?

Also I noticed that none of the video that I shot on my iphone is transferred to my pc. Please help.

Thanks so muh.

If you go back to the main project screen, there is an icon which is a square with a curve arrow, with that you can transfer to several places including camera roll and to iTunes. Either option allows you to transfer it to you PC once you plug it into your PC using either explorer to get files from the camera roll or using iTunes if you selected transfer to iTunes. Hope this helps.

This will export the project, which you are unable to open on a Windows computer, so I would advise you not to do so.

Your only option is to export to camera roll, then import from there to Windows:

Hi,

I had tried both methods. On photoroll I could view my project and email a photo project successfully. I made an imovie trailer and could email only part of it because the file was so large and was able to view it. When I transferred it through itunes, I could not view it on my pc. It could not read the file extension and I kept getting error -2048.

I also tried to save the files as a photo transfer. I couldn't view the trailers either. Everything else saved perfectly. The imovie trailer just appeared as a black square.

I was wondering if I need a converter to view the file after I have saved it because it is not a .mov file. I am using XP. Could that be the problem? It is strange that I can view it partially but when I transfer through itunes ithe file is not recognized. Has anyone had this problem?

Thanks so much.

Don't email it, that will be too small.

Have you saved to the camera roll (is that what you mean by photo roll?)and then imported to your PC?

I'm not sure why you tried to email it.

This will make a quicktime movie (.mov), which you will need to download Quicktime for your PC.

You do not want to transfer through iTunes; this will create a project file.
