How to insert a special character in iWeb?

I can open the Insert Special Character menu and I can access the Latin section where I can choose the en francais accents. However, upon selecting the character I want to copy in the chosen text on the webpage, all it says is to 'copy character info'.

Being in Canada, many of us choose en francais words in our text and like to include the accents.

HELP!

Thank you!

Use the modifier keys on your keyboard. They've been around for decades :

BTW, they're system wide and not iWeb specific.

Hey! Wyodor! Right on! For some reason I did not 'think' [shows how the grey cells are 'greying'] the modifier keys were applicable to iWeb. Ignorance is not bliss and thank you so kindly for taking the time to 'wake-me-up!

What would us 'dummer-than-dummer' Mac users do without clever techies like you? Glad you are there for us! Big time!

Saved my day!

All the best!
