How can I open Final Cut Express project in Final Cut Pro X?

I just discovered that I can use Import > Media to import clips directly from the FCE4 Capture Scratch directory to a FCP project. I'm delighted with that! But it doesn't import any other FCE4 files.
Sorry but you can't tranfer Final Cut Express projects to FCP X.

If I export the FCE 4 project to .mov I should still be able to do some editing in FCPX, i.e add titles, right?
If you export the project from FCE you can import the QuickTime into FCP. You can do limited work to it like adding titles.
You can't without a complicated routing through Final Cut Pro 7 and XML converted to an FCPX format that can be imported into the current version.
