Why past appointments disappearing from iCal calendar?
My past appointments have been disappearing from my iCal Calendar. HELP!!!
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.3)
Look in iCal>Preferenecs>Advanced and check your retention settings:

Thanks. But all of them are unchecked. Seems to me iCal are only keeping my past 60 days appointments. Others are all gone!! What can I do?! My last year's memories are all gone already and all I want to do is at least saving year 2012!
Archive your calendar immediately (File>Export Calendar>iCal Archive) while finding out what is going on, that way you won't lose any more. Then go to icloud.com and check the retention settings there.
Thank you, so much. I have exported my Calendar. I went to icloud.com and there isn't any retention settings for iCal - or just who cannot locate where it is?

I have exactly the same problem. But yet on my PC when I sign into Icloud and click on calendar everything is there.
I still would like to solve the problem of losing my past appointments on my Iphone! And still do not know how to solve this because don't know where to find retention settings?

I do not find an option on the iPhone where to ask it to retain past appointments made in iCloud. It doesn't appear an option at all. Is that true?
