epson workforce 545

Wireless printing to Epson Workforce 545 problem. One computer set up just fine but second iMac seems to set up and never prints. After first print shows "busy." On some occasions I have gotten error code 30866.

iMac desktop-OTHER, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

OK, try this. In the Print & Fax preference highlight the printer, then click the - symbol below it to remove the printer. Then restart the printer in Safe Mode, this will clear some caches. How you do this is when you hear the startup tone hold down the Shift Key until you see the progress bar. Let it fully boot and then restart the printer normally. If the printer isn't seen go back to the Print & Fax preference and click the + symbol to add the printer. If the printer cannot be seen then it may need to be re-installed on the router or you can always install it from it's IP address.

Of course also make sure you have the most up-to-date drivers from Apple, run Software Update to be sure.

I shut down the other computer on the network and installed the printer, I thought, successfully, on the computer. Although it looks fine when I went to use it, driver, address and all, it still could not find the printer. My temporary work-around for now, unless someone can help me, is I set up another computer with this printer "shared", then I went to the problem computer and set up the printer with the shared computer. This works, but it is not great since the second computer must be in use to print.
