Iphone to computer bluetooth calls

As of recently I have been attempting at getting my iphone connected and set up to the bluetooth on my computer. Now to state this early, I am not using this as a means for file transfers, I have found the endless conversations stating that it cannot be done. My goal is that because I am at my computer all day and always wearing a headset that I be able to use it for my phone calls as well. I have managed to pair the phone to my computer, and I do indeed receive all audio. (music, phone call voices) Problem lies in the fact that my headset mic is not transmitting voice back to the caller. I have enabled the "Handsfree" setting on my computer as it is setup to do such things. Does the iphone just refuse to accept anything back from a bluetooth computer, phone calls and all? Am I overlookoing something?

Currently running on Windows 7 using an ASUS on board Bluetooth motherboard.

this is the bluetooth profiles supported by ios no other bluetooth features can be used

My computer recognizes "HID-compliant consumer control device" as a DirectInput Device so would that not fall under the last profile of the above linked support page?

My Motherboard is an ASUS P8Z68-V Pro. It has no problem with phones such as the Blackberry. I'm hoping that this is simply some random driver that the Iphone might require extra from other phones? Or perhaps an odd setting? My computer is recognizing the phone, incoming audio is being received, outgoing audio from my mic is not being transmitted. I have gone about disabling every application that might take "exclusive control" of my mic to ensure that was not the problem. This situation is rather perturbing, to say the least.

Otherwise, no offense but Iphone will have dropped the ball again for me in terms of its appeal over other smart phones.
