What is after OS X 10.9?

After OS X Mountain Lion (OS X 10.8) there will be OS X 10.9 which is followed by what? Not 10.10 because .10 is equivalant to .1, will it be OS X 11?

iPad, iOS 5.1

X is the Roman numeral for 10, and before it came Mac OS 9.

Mac OS X stands alone and nowhere on the Mountain Lion page does Apple write 10.8. This is because 10.8 is the OS number and the version number (version 8 of OS X). Therefore, Mac OS X 11 doesn't make any sense, because X doesn't equal 11. Either the OS will be labelled OS 11 (I doubt Roman numerals will be used because they are not used for iOS, and XI just doesn't look that trendy) or iOS will replace OS X, since it will have reached a level of maturity and features where universal apps can be created that work across iPhone, iPad and Mac.

How about OS Xi?

XI is eleven

The i in Xi will reference iOS (the inevtiable combining of OS X and iOS). Apple could have some real fun and call it OS Ξ (OS Xi), the 14th letter of the greek alphabet. It also sounds like someone saying OS I.

All told, if I wanted credit for a guess, this would be the guess I'd take credit for.
