Q: I can't download HD rentals to my iPad 3.

I cannot download HD rentals of films or purchased tv shows to my iPad 3. I haven't tried standard quality.

I click the purchase button and it jumps down to the downloads section. I click on it and it isn't there. It's not in the videos app. If I re-try it it tells me that I have already purchased this and that it has not been downloaded and to manage my downloads I have to click on downloads. When I do this my only option is the iTunes terms and conditions link.

My account info is up to date and I can download apps.

This has been on going now for several day now and I've tried it on several different places (so its not just my wifi)

Any help would be appreciated. I would think the iPad 3 would be able to handle any kind of HD movie from apples iTunes store.

Here's another one, went thru that issue with the ipad 2,,,figure it was a bug since it worked before, this all started when they split the fatc if you bought HD, it would download the SD version also...the question goes then were we actually watching the HD format or SD version of the show...I can download the HD version...now I get the error that my ipad cannot play the version I downloaded...so it never syncs the show/movie to my ipad...
