I can't send emails from my iPhone 4s

Please tell us more, who is your email service provider? Has it always been like this? If it worked before, what changed in the meantime?

Your post is too vague. "Can't send" - what EXACTLY happens when you try. What type of mail account? How did you set up the smpt (send) server?

I have the same problem - it's worked fine up until today. I am with Bell.sympatico. I am able to download mail fine but when sending, I get the message: The user name or password for "SMTP:xxxxxxx@sympatico.ca@smtphm.sympatico.ca" is incorrect.

None of my settings have changed in the past day. Everything appears correct. I've tried reentering the password to the same effect.

sounds like you may need to enter a password for your outgoing mail servers. Same password as your incoming mail server. Go into your mail account in settings and see if you can enter a password.

you may need to enter the advanced settings and edit ports, security authentications and all the hoobla do. Usually the company can give you the information if you contact them.

Thank you. I have been leaving emails in my outbox waiting to connect to wifi at home for them to be sent. I always thought it was a weak network problem. Thanks for resolving razmee209 :)
