Driver for Canon LiDE 500F and Mac OS X 10.7.3

Question

I can´t make the scanner Canon LiDE 500F work with OS X 10.7.3 - CanoScan Toolbox "failed to open a driver."

MacBook Pro (15-inch Late 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.3), Toolbox "failed to find a driver"

You may need to get the LiDE 700F. However, try the driver for the 700 and see if you 500 will work with it:
