Apple Tv only showing Movies Computers Settings menus

Welcome to the Apple community.

Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router.

I too am having this issue. Tried unplugging all cables, resetting, restoring, etc. As soon as I sign into the itunes store and itunes match, the same thing happens. Only the settings icon and computers icon is present. If I change my itunes store to a different country, all of the icons are back, but it won't allow me to sign in as I am only permitted to sign into the US iTunes store.

This is very frustrating. I am running the latest iTunes and AppleTv software. There seems to be an issue with Home Sharing or an issue with the US iTunes store server.

Any suggestions?

I'm having the same issue with my 2nd gen. All was fine yesterday. April fools by Apple???

I also have the same problem: only see Computer & Settings.

In the Settings Menu, pick a location

Doing a restore was the only thing that would fix mine. Btw, I had two of my appletv's do the same thing on the same day. So I don't believe this is a network issue. It's a problem with the appletv software. If it was a network issue then the restore would not have fixed the problem.

This was fixed for me the next day without any change on my part so I assume it was just a glitch in the US store on April 1.
