Mac Mail is showing 5 unread e mail that are not there??

The mail app on my mac is showing 5 unread e mails that are not there? i have been through my mailbox which is an icloud account and there are no unread e mails??

Any advice on how to rectify this??

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), Mac OS X (10.7.2), 320gb i5 2.4ghz 8gb ram

I have rebuilt the mailbox several times, but it is still showing unread mail. on another post the suggestion was to delete VIP email option. Don't think I have one of those.

Rebuilding did NOT solve that problem. I still have the problem.
