I can't get song from itunes in iMovie

In iMovie I have a 3 minute movie prepared I want to add an itunes song to. When I go to the music & sound effects tab, there is no arrow next to itunes, just the icon. So I am not able to select an iTunes song for my movie. I have all updates installed and have run disk utility repairs/1st aid, and have ilife '11.

Does anyone else know how I could fix this problem? Thanks, Jill
