only 100 songs? Really?
My 2GB iPod Shuffle is only able to hold about 100 songs, if that. Why can't I get more songs on it? I should be able to get around 400-500 songs.

What format are these tracks in and what bitrate are they encoded at? You can view this information from under each track's Summary tab of its Get Info window in iTunes.
Have you tried restoring your Shuffle and resyncing your music to see if that helps?
