I've had this happen too. All I had to do was open Logic, start a project and then go to the Logic Pro menu, select Download Additional Content and then the downloads continued.
Hi, I had the same problem. I asked the question below 5 days ago but didnt get a response, so i tried the old drag and drop and it worked. All my apple loops installed.
I have a 2 year old Imac running OS 10.6.8. I have downloaded Logic pro 9 (9.1.7) and the 20 gig of additional content and installed it and booted up logic for the first time, but the apple loops have not installed and logic is asking me to reinstall the apple loops. But how do I do that? I can see they are in Library > Audio > Apple Loops.
thats what I'm talking about. Why DL 20 GIG AGAIN when its right there.....
OK here's the deal. When you buy an app from the app store you get 90 days of FREE technical support. Here is how you fix this delima.
1. make sure you have the content installed.
2. go to the Apple Loops Index folder and DELETE the whole folder and all its contents.
3. Drag the APPLE LOOPS folder from #2 above onto the LOOPS window. Logic will index the folder. This took my 2008 17" MBP maybe 90 seconds.
VIOLA.........life is good. Now I have a million loops at my finger tips. Hope this helps everyone.
Did I mention 90 days of FREE Tech support.
