My Iphone 3GS wont restore error message (14) and (9)

hello, well i had my iphone 3gs on charge and it turnd off and went to the screen were u see the usb and iTunes logo to connect it. so i connect it to my laptop and it says thta it needs to be restored so i click on restore and it makes me download a large file. then it says its starting to restore, all goes well untill half way done and then i eather get an error message ( 14 ) or error message ( 9 ) i have tryd three diffrent laptops and 5 diffrent connection leads, and yet still getting the same error on all of them. Is anyone else haveing these problems ? if so have you found a way to fix it ?

I have tried the wake and home button methord

The just home button methord.

Nothing seems to work.

I dont get any error messages saying that there is a hard wear problem it's always mainly (14) and (9)
