Actually, malware is more of an issue with Macs than viruses.

Macs do not come with anti-virus programs, but there are not many viruses for Macs. If you're worried just be warry about where you go on the internet, etc. You could also download your own anti-virus software, but that would most likely cost money.

The are no viruses that affect Mac OS to date. Most AV software is unhelpful at best, downright dangerous at worst. Some AV programs to avoid are MacKeeper and Norton for Mac.
