i have a macbook pro. i think i might have pushed some buttons that made my macbook look for a wireless keyboard.. i dont have any wireless keyboard. and now i cant use the keyboard on my macbook. how can i get the normal keyboard staring?
I know this was a long time ago, but do you remember what worked? I have tried resetting PRM and used force quit however nothing responds. The only button that communicates with computer is power if I hold it.
the only thing I can think you could have done was turn on bluetooth and your mac is looking for bluetooth devices, but it shouldn't/won't disable your keyboard. Can you use the cursor to turn off bluetooth?
i dont know which button it is to turn on and of the bluetooth. but non of the buttons seems to work, even the mouse cant be used. whats the bluetooth button tho? (to turn it on and of with)
As shldr2thewheel says, your Mac uses the "all ports live" philosophy. You could type every other character on alternating keyboards if you wanted, and use two or three pointing devices "live" at the same time.
If your MacBook keyboard is not working, you should try to Restart. If you can't do that, you should press and hold the power button for up to a quarter minute until it shuts down, wait a little while, then start it up again. Any lasting effects from buttons you pressed will be gone.
when i restart it and come to the point were im going to login, the mouse wont move and the buttons are not useable.. and after some minutes.. it pops up a script were it says that the macbook cannot find a bluetooth keyboard, and it isnt a keyboard connected... i have tried both restart and restart with a quarter minute.

For some reason, your Mac doesn't recognise that a keyboard is present, so it looks for a wireless keyboard. The question is, why doesn't your Mac recognise that a keyboard is attached?
First, you need to make sure you remove all peripherals, especially USB peripherals (the keyboard is on the USB bus). Then restart holding down the Shift key. This should boot in Safe mode. If the computer boots normally (not in safe mode) and the keyboard is still not working, try resetting the SMC

If that still doesn't fix the problem, then the keyboard (or its controller) is probably damaged and needs to be replaced.
