Looking for an ap to control PTZ cameras from a mac mini

Our church is looking to move away from our current windows based system for on line streaming to a Mac based system. However, we have hit a roadblock in trying to find PTZ control software for a Mac. Several low cost programs are available for the Win system, why none for Mac?

Hi, I use Security Spy, and it works well, BUT, it will NOT control any PTZ cameras that are analog. It will only work with "network ip" type cameras. Yes, it will record PTZ analog cameras, but will NOT do any pan/tilt/zoom features. I have a similar question as the original post here. Does anyone know of a way to have MAC computer send RS485 commands to an analog PTZ camera? There would have to be a USB to RS485 converter and some type of MAC software to send the commands through the convertor (RS485 is just 2 wires to the camera's PTZ, which is "Pelco D" format). Hopefully someone on here knows of a way to do this? Thanks

STILL no solution for this?

All we need is a mac software that sends PTZ commands. I've found several usb to RS485 adapters for mac, but no one has the actual PTZ software for Mac OS X. This is the "Pelco D" protocol. RS485 is just 2 wires directly to the camera. The usb to RS485 adapter looks like a usb thumbdrive with the 2 wire terminals on the end. RS485 (Pelco D) protocol for security cameras has been around for a LONG time now, so it is surprising (rather unbelievable) that no one has written a ptz software for Mac OS X? Yes, there are security viewing and recording softwares for mac, but that is for ip cameras. We need something much more simple, made for mac os x, that only controls the ptz function (for any 2- wire RS485 cameras or devices). There has to be someone out there that has done this?
