I've had a white iPad 3 32GB since the day it came out. No light leeks, no grim, just perfection; it looks exactly the same as when I first got it. Some added bonuses to the white bezel is it typically stays cooler outdoors, shows fingerprints less than the black and is known to do the same with scratches. If your thinking about getting a white iPad 3 don't be discouraged by what you hear online. The iPad 3 hasn't been on the market that long but no such problems have arisen and even if you got one of the few lemons Apple would replace it under warranty. Most people online are spectulating problems with the white when they don't even have one.

Why would you believe this? The majority of users who post here have problems... hence the reason for their post. There must be countless satisfied users out there who never post.

FWIW I have a 64GB 3G iPad 3 which is white. I did not really want a white one but one day 2 after release it was the only colour available. Acturally, it is really immaterial as the colour is completely hidden by a full leather case! It most certainly has no light bleeding.

A couple of friends also have white iPad 3s... again no problems.

There is no issue here, just a troll.

NO, none of us on a normal basis sit in dark room, and look at bright pictures of black squares. If by some stretch of imaginatino you are not a troll, and are really doing this to your local Apple store, give up, please, stop abusing Apple's return policy, it's people like you who ruin customer service policies for the rest of us.

I agree that that would be distracting when watching a movie in wide screen. Personally I wouldn't settle for a screen of that quality, and if I'm honest I don't think many people on this forum would either... even if they won't care to admit it.

I had a similar issue on my black iPad 3 64 gb wifi. I returned it within the 14 day policy to get my money back and bought a new one a week later when the money was refunded into my account - I didn't want to get into the Apple 'refurb' replacement cycle. A lesson I learned the hard way when I had issues with my iPhone 4 back in 2010 (yellow tint).

My advise, don't give up. You've obviously gone past the 14 day returns policy and seem to be caught in the refurb loop, but people have reported to come out of it eventually (in other forums).

And in the future remember the 14 days.

Good luck!
