NO - don't put it in the slot loading disc, please. While some have been able to get them back out on their own, sometimes they have had to disassemble the machine and the drive to get them back out. DO NOT use mini discs in a slot loading drive.

If due to your activities, you need to read or use mini disks or irregularly shaped optical media, consider purchasing an external drawer-type CD/DVD drive that plugs into the USB or Firewire port. There are even some slimline bus-powered models that don't require an external power supply or power cord.
