VPN PPTP default gateway

I have a xserve running 10.6 server with VPN. 2 nics (public and private - 192.168.2.8) The order service is first public and last private with last one with 192.168.2.252 default gateway. I need to configure a route that when clients connect trough vpn (PPPx) the default gateway would be 192.168.2.252.

If I reverse the order on ethernets the traffic goes ok, but that's not my intention.

Any helps, please feel free to ask for more config.

i tried

route add ips_from_vpn 192.168.2.252

worked on list netstat, but still not working on remote side (on netstat besides have a default gw for my_vpn_address, i have a top route that shows the public)

Done with IPFW and NAT.
