Adding text to a pie chart in pages

Hi,

I'm a complete newbie with Pages and making charts. I'm trying to make a simple pie chart but I want text label instead of numeric. I have read the help menu and it says to use an insertion point before or after the text that I put in the box. What is an insertion point? Or more specifically, how do I get my text displayed instead of a number in a pie chart? Thanks in advance for the help! Nanci

To edit the graph:

Click on the Chart > Inspector > Charts > Edit Data

It will show you the attributes for the chart style you have chosen.

You can apply the header info from the Data by checking Show Series Names

Double click on any of the Header items in the Data Table to change it.

Also experiment with

Inspector > Chart > Format > Labels > Custom… > delete the existing lozenge and drag in an alternative such as Entered Text
