Q: I have the first iPad and would like to enroll in a data plan how do I do this?

Which data plans are offered on a monthly basis? How do I set up an account for this through my local AT&T provider? Use the information on my iPad or visit the store directly? What I want is the option to use 3G when I travel but continue with my wifi at home.
